E-Learning can be defined as ‘learning facilitated and supported through the use of information and communications technology’. It can cover a spectrum of activities from the use of technology to support learning as part of a ‘blended’ approach using a combination of traditional and e-learning approaches or or learning that is delivered entirely online.

Whatever the technology, the learning is the vital element.

At the W- School, we believe there are numerous benefits of E-learning for the current 21st Century student.  As early as KG, we put I-Pads in the hands of students as we feel this supplements and supports teaching and learning.

Other broad benefits that E-learning supports:

  • The ability to provide distance learning (learning not on campus)
  • A blended learning/teaching approach (using face-to-face and technology)
  • The use of technology to support a wide range of educational activity
